Un grande accendino a benzina della Ronson inglese: forse  uno dei suoi modelli più famosi, il Touch Tip del 1938 in bachelite bianca. In questo accendino una bacchetta tipo fiammifero, immersa nella brnzina, si solleva ; si preme un meccanismo che fa sì che un nugolo di scintille cadano sullo stoppino della bacchetta., accedendola.

Era l’ evoluzione dello striker  e l’ inizio dell’ era dell’ accendino.

Ronson Touch Tip model: 1938

Touch-Tip: a great lither by Ronson dated 1938. maybe  one of its more famous an requested model.

In Touch – tip system a permanent match (called the “wand”) is withdrawn and pushed down on a mechanism that causes a shower of sparks to fall on the wick end of the wand. It was the striker’ s evolution and the beginning of lighter time.

This is a very rare piece very required by collectirs. Its tall 3,5 inches.

Accendino da tasca a benzina PARKER BEACON 1930. (DUNHILL).

Questo bellissimo accendino ha segnato la storia europea degli accendini: La Parker era una pregiata azienda svizzera che faceva parte della Dunhill. Fu essa a lanciare per prima nel 1930 questo accendino che ha continuato produrre sia con il proprio marchio (Parker Beacon made in Suisse con vendita in Europa) e con il marchio inglese Dunhill made in England., con vendita nell’ Impero inglese: lo stesso identico modello di gran prestigio.

Questo è lo stesso delizioso accendino, in versione Europea, (Parker Beacon) ben marchiato sotto, come potete vedere dalle foto,. Un pezzo davvero ghiotto per collezionisti esigenti

Pocket lighter Parker Beacon 1930, working by petrol

This beautiful and elegant lighter was considered a milestone in the lighters history.

Parker was in 1930 the Suisse branch of Dunhill. This factory realized Parker Beacon lighter and began to produce it under double marks: Parker Beacon, made in Suisse, directed to the European market; and Dunhill, Swiss made by Parker, directed to English and overseas markets

You are looking the same Parker Beacon in European version, well sealed in the bottom, as you can see on the photos. A rare piece for collectors!

DUNHILL : modello UNIQUE PIPE 1935.

Un modello tascabile Dunhill di gran successo realizzato nel 1935 per i numerosi fumatori di pipa.

Il porta stoppino si può alzare per raggiungere con la fiamma il centro del fornello. Ottone argentato. Usato ma in buono stato. Funziona perfettamente.

E’ stato prodotto fino al 1955 e questo esemplare può essere proprio del 1950, poiché ha incisa la dedica “a John” e la data 27 maggio 1970. E’ un modello particolarmente raro.

DUNHILL: UNIQUE PIPE model: 1935.

A pocket pipe successfull lighter realized by Dunhill in 1935 for pipe smokers. The wick carrier can be lifted so that the flame reaches the centre of the pipe bowl. Silver plated brass. It’s used , bud in good state and it’ s working perfectly.

It was produced until 1955 and this piece can be sold in 1950, having a dedication “to John” and a date: 27 may 1950. It’s a model especially rare and it is published at page 61 of “Lighters” by Bisconcini : Editions: Bella Casa library.

Accendino da Tavolo SS & Co 1930: Rarissimo.

Un eccezionale ed INTROVABILE accendino da tavolo del 1930. Viene dalla inglese SS & CO ed anticipa le future navicelle spaziali. Sulla rampa di lancio vi è una navicella piena di benzina.. così come veniva immaginata nel 1930. Funziona con il sistema striker. Dentro la navicella si immette benzina. Si estrae lo striker, lo si strofina sulla pietra delle rampe (vedi foto) e quindi il suo stoppino,  imbevuto di benzina,  si incendia. (vedi foto). In ottone argentato, è in condizioni eccellenti, come nuovo e funzionante. Sotto: nome, modello e licenza. Pubblicato tra gli accendini rari da trovare su Cigarette Lighters di Schneider, pubblicaz Shiffer pag 100.

Table lighter by English SS & CO realized in 1930. Very rare.

An exceptional and very very rare table ligther dated 1930. It comes from the English SS &CO and anticipate the future space shuttles. It represents in the launching pad a space shuttle full of gasoline, in the way it could be imagined in 1930. It works by striker system. You put gasoline in the tank, you take out the striker and you rub it in the middle of two poles; its wick, wet of gasoline, ligths (see photos). Realized in silver plated brass, it is in excellent mint condition and it’s working.

In the bottom side, name of factory, model and number of license.

Pubblished as a very rare lighter in “Cigarette Lighters” by Schneider, Shiffer editions, pag. 100.
