Sarà perché io amo i gatti….ma difficilmente ho visto una scultura in bronzo di un gattino a pancia all’ aria che chiede le coccole.. così adorabile, così ben fatta, così stilisticamente ineccepibile.

 Gatto in vetro soffiato Murano anni 50

Un gatto bellissimo in vetro soffiato di Murano realizzato a cavallo degli anni 50/60 da un grande maestro vetraio che ha inteso giocare sapientemente con i colori ed i sommersi. La parte anteriore del corpo e quella superiore della testa sono in vetro cristallo con un sommerso giallo opale; quindi un sommerso di vetro blu ed un sommerso di vetro verde nel naso: infne , l’ inserimento di pasta di vetro bianca e vetro verde negli occhi, che rendono la lavorazione complicata ed importante.

A very nice cat in blown glass of Murano astride of the Fifties/Sixties

It’s a wonderful and rare cat realized in Murano (blown glass) astride the Fifties/Sixties, by a great Masterwho used many colours and the hard technician of submerged glass. The front part of the cat and the top part of the head are realized in crystal glass submerged in yellow opale;  more, a submerged glass in blue and submerged glass in green in the nose. Insert of vitreous paste white and green in the eyes. Thesec particulars make the technician important and complicated.
