Una splendida coppia di fermalibri a forma di bellissimi  cani realizzati dalla famosa casa tedesca Rosenthal esattamente nel 1933. Questo è stato infatti l’ unico anno in cui la Rosenthal ha effettuato opere in ceramica anziché nella tradizionale porcellana tedesca e ciò determina una particolare rarità del pezzo. I pochi pezzi realizzati in quel periodo, tutti di gran pregio e di mirabile fattura, come questo, sono stati battuti alle aste inglesi a cifre altissime (1200 e 1500 euro). Stato perfetto.

Scatola rosa  con Torre Eiffel 

Una stupenda scatola in porcellana rosa marchiata, proveniente dalla Francia tra la fine del l’ 800 ed i primi del 900. Nel coperchio è dipinta una Torre Eiffel su un paesaggio in stile naif, mentre nella scatola vi è dipinta a mano una scena di due uccellini su un ramo di fiori.

La scatola, probabilmente, faceva parte di quelle bomboniere che – nei matrimoni eleganti – gli sposi donavano; e la Torre Eiffel indicherebbe appunto un matrimonio di Parigi.

A pink box with Tour Eiffel.

A magnificent box in marked pink porcelain, comin from France between the end of XIX century and the beginning of XX. On the top is painted a Tour Eiffel standing on a naïf landscape; on the box, in the porcelain, is painted a scene of two birds on a tree with flowers.

The box was used, in elegant marriages, as a bonbonniere that newlayweds presented to their guestes. Tour Eiffel signify a marriage celebratede in Paris.

Scultura del Prof. Piergianni Cedraschi per Capodimonte: contadino con oche  

Stupenda ed oggi introvabile scultura in ceramica  di Capodimonte a firma di un grande scultore milanese negli anni ’60: il Prof. Piergianni Cedraschi.

Quest’ opera, molto rara nella produzione scultorea di Cedraschi e ricercata dai collezionisti, è stata rinvenuta assieme ad altre cinque presso un gioielliere del Ponte Vecchio che ha cessato l’ attività.

Rappresenta un grasso contadino con sciarpa e due oche ai piedi

 L’espressione del contadino, la cura e la minuzia dei dettagli fanno di questa opera un vero capolavoro del grande scultore. Non c’è bisogno di commenti: basta guardare le foto e sentire ciò che l’ opera trasmette.

Firmata sulla base, reca sotto la base sia il marchio di Cedraschi che quello di Capodimonte,  per segnalare l’ inserimento dell’ opera nell’ ambito delle sculture realizzate per Capodimonte.

It’s a magnificent and extremely rare sculpture in Capodimonte’s  ceramic realized by a big sculptor of Milano in the Sixties: Prof. Piergianni Pedraschi.

This work, very rare in production of sculptures by Cedraschi is very demanded by collectors:

It was found, with other five sculptures, in a jeweller’s shop (now closed)  in Old Bridge of Florence.

It represents a fat farmer with a scarf on the neck and two geese at his feet.

The expression of figures, the care of details  gives  to this work the chrism of masterpiece.

You don’t need further comments: it’s sufficient to look pictures and feel what the sculpture conveys.

Signed on the base, it has too under bottom the seal Cedraschi and seal N of Capodimonte for signifying  the work was realized for Capodimonte factory
